Spicy Pasta with Lobster/Mi Xao Tom Hum Cay

I love pasta and lobster, and making it a little "diablo" is the perfect way to go with the use of some Thai chili paste. You know me, Asianize it a bit and your taste buds will thank you. I'm mixing a little Italian to this Asian pasta dish. Such an easy recipe to make for someone special. Enjoy! 

RECIPE for 4 servings (See the video for this dish)

4 lobster tails, split in half
1 lb of spaghetti pasta, cooked
1/2 medium white onion, chopped
3 tbs of chopped fresh garlic
3 tbs of chopped shallots
1 handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped
3 tbs of stewed tomato sauce, Muir brand preferred
Fresh ground pepper to taste
3 tbs of Thai chili
2 tbs of premium fish sauce
Cooking oil

First saute the onion, then shallots until fragrant and about to get golden. Then add in the lobster tails, meat side down first. Remember to marinate lobster with a dash of salt and pepper before adding them to the pan. Flip the tails over once the meat is golden, about 3-4 mins. Continue to saute the onion mixture while the lobster tails are cooking. Add in the garlic and saute that. Next add in the Thai sauce, then some fish sauce. Mix everything well and then add in the pasta. Toss well. Transfer to a large plate. Add the fresh basil to the platter right before serving. Enjoy!
