Basil Chicken (Ga Xao La Que)

This is a quick and simple chicken dish that is sure to please. I thought the chicken tenders give the best performance for this dish, in both taste and cooking time. Just about five minutes in a hot wok, these nuggets of chicken are done for plating. The basil leaves give a beautiful fragrance and a bright green color. I didn't add any heat to this kid-friendly dish, but if you want to spice things up, just add slivers of spicy peppers such as Thai chili or jalepeno.
